Behind Her Desk – Sophie Lane

Sue has spent more than forty years being dependable.

A wife. A grandmother. A manager who knows where the boundaries are and has never had any reason to question them.

Then Jade kisses her.

Young, fearless and dangerously observant, Jade is everything Sue is not — and she quickly notices the way her manager’s eyes linger whenever glossy leggings, wet-look trousers and PVC enter the room.

Sue insists it means nothing. She is married. Jade works for her. She has never wanted another woman before.

But Jade has little interest in Sue’s excuses.

What begins as teasing across an office desk becomes an increasingly dangerous game of temptation, secrecy and control. The more Sue tries to protect the respectable life she has built, the more completely Jade seems able to expose the desires underneath it.

And when the line between manager and employee finally disappears, Sue discovers that holding the senior position doesn’t necessarily mean she is the one with the power.

Behind Her Desk is a provocative Sophie Lane story of lesbian awakening, forbidden workplace attraction, age-gap desire, marital betrayal, power reversal and glossy temptation — where one woman risks everything for a desire she never saw coming.

Sue was Jade’s boss. She just wasn’t the one in control.
